A mosaic?

I would hope that what we are seeing in the Obama Administration's recent announcements are the tiles in a mosaic that will be revealed, by stepping back, as a coherent picture upon completion.

Economic consequences

This is not so much a question of right track or wrong track as it is a question of timing and perspective. At a time when the economy is struggling to recover from the worst recession in at least three decades, the last thing that is needed is imposing higher costs on businesses and consumers and creating greater uncertainty on the part of the private sector.

Offshore development: A positive step but more must be done

As President Obama acknowledged last week, the United States needs an energy strategy that addresses the nation's present and future energy demands, national security, economic growth and job creation, as well as environmental protection.
