Weyerhaeuser joins USCAP

By Steven Mufson

The U.S. Climate Action Partnership lost three big corporate members recently, but it added one today: Weyerhaeuser, the big forest products company. USCAP now has 24 corporate members and five non-government organizations such as the Environmental Defense Fund and World Resources Institute.

USCAP has been a leading proponent of using a cap-and-trade system to limit emissions of greenhouse gases.
