Santa in Sad Times

With the sad state of the economy, even Santa doesn't have a chance. His believers may ultimately blame him for the economic meltdown, just as corporate leaders have cast about for someone to blame besides themselves. Even Bernie Madoff cannot use Santa to redeem himself. Only the auto companies have something to smile about, having received an early visit from Santa last week.
