Transparency Needed

I believe that who we are, and how we see the world, is based in good measure on our past experiences, coupled with level of self-awareness. Try as one might, we are shaped by our past.

For me, from a leadership perspective, the question is how aware are we of our filters and biases
and how they influence the choices we make. I believe the stories told offer powerful context and help me better understand the person relating the story, as well as better remember what they said. Whether articulated or not, personal histories greatly contribute to the making
of a person and sharing them with the public offers a transparency I appreciate.
