Set Smaller Goals
He might consider that he is wrong, that during a recession a more modest set of goals may be more appropriate, goals to be reached by the very bipartisan approach to which gave so much emphasis during last year's campaign. At this point, even a modest success that met with widespread approval would strengthen his hand for much of the rest of his agenda.
