Passion and energy first
Q: How do you define success?I think to be successful one needs to have passion and energy first. Many people can pretend to be successful but success truly comes when you are doing something that you love to do.That takes endless energy and boundless passion -- you have to be willing to do anything to make it happen.
I think too many times today people want to reach that successful place in their careers without putting all the building blocks in place. It takes time and courage. It also takes commitment that is more than 40 hours a week at a regular job. You can't put a time limit on it.
Success
really begins with yourself and what you believe in. And how hard you
are really willing to work for it. I remember I had a professor in
college who told me anyone can make you a better artist but no one can
make you a better person. It has to begin with you -- and then the
possibilities are endless.
