Friending in San Diego

It's official--the world is only this big.  Jessica, who I wrote about the other week during her launch of Just Kite It sent an unexpected e-mail introduction between myself and Melani, a friend of hers living in San Diego.  

Not only is Melani an entrepreneur and founder of her own internet marketing consultancy, Gwave Consulting,  but it turns out that she actually works out of the same place that I'll be working out of once I move down there! What are the chances of that?

Added bonus--Melani is an action sports enthusiast and even offered to join me in my quest to try 12 extreme sports in 12  months.   While I thought I would meet people who would join me for one or two, I did not imagine crossing paths with another person willing to go the distance. 

The funny part is that I was commenting recently to a friend that I was a bit concerned about not knowing many girls in San Diego. Now, not only will I know at least one going in--as well as the two that I will hopefully be living with--but we'll be working out of the same office and possibly even sharing a common action sport adventure!
