Learning library
Pursue growth and learning is another core value at Zappos that Tony Hsieh talks about in Delivering Happiness. One of the ways they encourage this is through the Zappos library, a collection of books available for all visitors and employees.
The notion of a company library piqued my interest and got me thinking about books I might contribute. Here are some of the business titles that immediately came to mind:
- Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson
- Liars Poker by Michael Lewis
- The Dip by Seth Godin
- Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi
- The Facebook Effect by David Kirkpatrick
- Ready For Anything by David Allen
- Making Ideas Happen by Scott Belsky
And of course, while not necessarily business books, I always recommend The Four Agreements and the Tao te Ching. What books would you include?
