Safety in the workplace

With the recent workplace shooting, which left 13 dead, in Fort Hood, Texas, on Thursday, and another rampage at what has now been identified as the shooter's former place of employment in Orlando on Friday, has work become too violent of a place? Do you believe something similar could happen in your place of employment?

i work with a bucnch of clueless obnoxious nurses...i'm generally pretty aware of my surroundings ...if something were to happen i would have to be among the first or in thge direct firing line to get hit.....otherwise i could probably make it to the fire escape or a window somewhere
