Are you at work today?

Following this weekend's snow storm, which blanketed the region in upwards of 16 inches of snow, did you make it into work?

Well, I cheated a little in your poll: The sunny South is, temps in the balmy low 60's, brilliant sunshine, mild breeze. While it's too pretty to work inside, bills must be paid, etc. I do LOVE the South! Ya'll come!

I think this is more of a reflection of what the people AT work, are ACTUALLY doing...

As a person who does surveys for a living, I cringed at your poll. Asking on the one hand, "Did you have to go to work today?" is quite different than asking, "Did you make it into work?" You asked both questions in the same poll, but only gave one response option. I didn't HAVE to go into work today, but I MADE it into work because I was too backlogged to lose a day. How do people like me answer your question(s)? tsk, tsk

I'm unemployed, so no, I'm not at work today. If I was employed and back living in the DC region, I'd be in the office, or working remotely if that was allowed.

I'm from Toronto, where we're used to snow (but not quite that much). Still, we've learned to drive in the snow a fair bit better than the DC area drivers have.

When I lived in DC, it was embarrassing how many snow days the region took. For pathetic (or even trace) amounts of snow. For this blizzard, on the other hand, it is understandable to call a snow day.

I made it to work today because I live in Cleveland, OH. Sorry for the Big blast (right). I am enjoying being able to watch others deal with what it generally the norm here. The weather in Cleveland has been unseasonal for us and we're loving it! It looks good on you guys though, how pretty! (pure sarcasm) Any way, it's winter, this is what happens during winter, so enjoy it and everyone, have a blessed Christmas! Be safe!
