Do you think the IMF board would benefit from
a shake-up?

The U.S. is using its clout within the IMF to stall elections for the institution's director positions on the grounds that the current board is too heavy on representation from western Europe. The U.S. says that this set-up doesn't reflect the increasing importance of emerging markets around the world like Turkey, Poland and sub-Saharan Africa.
