I stand in my office all day. I put a cardboard box on my desk and put my laptop on top of it.

If I get tired, I put the laptop on the desk and sit down for a few minutes. After a few minutes of sitting, my body gets uncomfortable and I stand up again.

I need to lose weight, and I have a heart condition. For me, it's a no brainer that it's better to stand than to sit.

When I saw that question, my first thought was - oh maybe they are considering "work from home". My job requires sitting in front of a pc so unless I can work from home, no I don't want to stand to do my job.
