Have you ever purchased counterfeit goods?

The Justice Department announced Monday that federal custom agents seized 82 Web sites accused of trafficking handbags and other counterfeit goods. Experts say the practice has mushroomed in recent years.

As long as they don't pretend they're the real thing, I don't see the big deal.

I bought 'Nature's Promise' organic food brand at the grocery store, assuming it was organic. It was not.

I bought some Izod alligator shirts on eBay, thinking I got a great deal. Then I saw a website comparing the differences between the real and the fakes (stitching and alligator placement) and I realized that I was gulled. I almost bought some old coins on eBay, then I read another website that said that almost all old coins on eBay are Eastern European fakes, to only buy from a dealer who has authenticated them. Live and learn.
