Gift bags for adults but kids love to tear wrapping paper off - builds the anticipation. Of course, anything Santa brings to our house is left unwrapped, unboxed and ready to play.

I'm almost 60 and even as a child I loved to wrap gifts. And I still do and expertly if I must say so. I'm a professional neatnik and my wrapping showcases that. I have 6 long bins that stack in my master closet with Christmas paper, everyday paper, curly ribbons, gift bags, and bows in them. When Christmas wrapping is over that bin goes to the bottom of the stack. I have always wrapped our gifts on the always standing ironing board in the closet. When the gifts are very large or odd to wrap I take my few supplies to the kitchen and wrap those few on the island. I also keep a supply of gift boxes on the upper shelf in the closet.
Works for me.

Where's the fun and excitement in opening a gift bag? Wrap it nicely and tie it with a bow. Presentation is everything!

I much prefer to open a wrapped gift then rip it out of a bag.

You spent time and money shopping for it. At least get some pleasure out of the recipient having a moment of anticipation.
