THE QUESTION

Big Ben or Kurt?

They both have a Super Bowl ring, they both want another, but which quarterback would you take to lead your team to victory Sunday?

Are you kidding? Warner, no question. But that doesn't mean the Cards are going to win the Super Bowl. QB is not the most important position in this game. Pittsburgh is going to win with the weaker arm.

Between a drunk driver and a Jesus freak the smart money goes with God. He has super powers and can make a grocery bagger into the king of kings. Big Ben has to learn wat time it is.

I can't think of a worse QB matchup than is this Super Bowl. One mediocre passer is ok, sometimes they step up and sometimes they dont. There is a place for the Rypiens the Hostetlers, and to some extent the Brad Johnsons. But this is just shlock and schlack. Ben had a QB rating of like 20 the last time he was here and Kurt is living on a prayer, literally. Yes he put up great numbers this year, but don't forget he was playing in the worst division in football. I would take their back ups before I took the starters in this one. Leinart and Leftwich have more talent than these two wannabes.

Historically the veteran QB is the one to have the advantage in the Super Bowl. For the first time in several years, we have two Super Bowl winning QB's in the game. But I'm sticking with Kurt Warner. Plain and simple, he knows this is probably his last best chance to leave a mark on the game. And after coming back from injury in NY and fighting to start with a top draft pick in Arizona, he has proven he has the composure and will to get it done. Ben Roethlisberger may have a ring, he may be younger, faster, and stronger, but he's not smarter. Not football smarter or mentally tougher than Warner.

Then again, it may be the defense of Pittsburgh, or the Cardinals lack thereof, that answers this question on Sunday.

Thx,

Jay!
