THE QUESTION

Can the Cardinals Repeat Or Even Compete?

Their defensive and offensive coordinators are gone, their quarterback might retire, their star receiver is refusing to play, so how in the world can the Arizona Cardinals become only the second team in eight years to make the playoffs after losing the Super Bowl?

Repeat what? The Cardinals didn't win anything. Nobody remembers who loses the Super Bowl.

The NFC West was a joke last year, but I'd say they have just as much a chance at repeating as champs there as do they Rams or the Niners or Seachickens.

Obama said there'd be change if he was elected, and look what happened: the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl!! That is dramatic change.

OK, OK, so the Steelers winning wasn't a big change, but next year the Lions could be there.

It seems that to a degree the team is being dismantled and will have to go into a rebuilding mode.
No, I can't picture them in the Super Bowl
next year.

Repeating would be difficult. On the other hand, six divisional wins and the division title are practically a given.

A couple of well-timed post season wins again are the only serious obstacle they appear to face in getting there.

Don't count Arizona out when you lived as long as I have some things can't be explained. I saw a Wild Card team win the Super Bowl. Remember little Eli Manning who went up against the Patriots with a perfect record. Yes it was the Hail Mary with a little help from some Angels and the Giants won. So as long as Arizona Cardinals keep McCain out and just believe in themselves they can not only come back to another Super Bowl they can win. Remember the Cardinals could have won this Super Bowl as they were that good. It's all about believing in yourself and your team not what analysis say or even with the stats are. When a Team inters the Super Bowl each team is even and records mean nothing.

This proves that Washington, DC is not a sports town, what cares about the the future of the Arizona Cardinals. Kurt was great story, but the future of Redskins, how are we going JC weapons to be a great QB or do we need to improve our OL to make a CP even back. DC has got so caught up into politics we forgot we have sports, that why we have some many Giants, Yankees, RedSox, Phills, Eagles, and Steelers fans in the DC area. Maybe DC fans make Yankees, Red Sox, or Phills our baseball team, the Celetics our basketball team, and Steelers, Giants, or Pats our football. Thank God we have the CAPS. If we did not have the CAPS, I would been beaten up in sports bar in New York when I had my Nats Cap. DC is becoming the worest sports town east of the Mississippi River(SF/Oakland is worest)-Det has Pistions and Red Wings-Lions are bad, but the Tigers has good team two years-I guess we can support the Cards too, because nobody cares about sports in DC, it is pass time, no passion.
