THE QUESTION

How Would You Make OT More Fair?

The NFL competition committee chose not to recommend changing overtime rules, so what would you do to improve it?

Wisely, this rule was left alone. It does not need changed. I am more concerned with the rule changes up for vote. As clearly demonstrated with the Roughing the Passer rules, the whistle for these kind of plays can often be blown when completetly unwarranted. It is impossible to ask a player to make a split second adjustment on where or how he blocks downfield. Also, hasn't the use of the Wedge blocking on a kick return been a staple for years?
It will be interesting to see how the owners vote on these.

I would have OT more like the NHL and have a shootuot. The ball at the 50, a QB,WR, and DB. 3 plays from the 50, 4 seconds per play, most points wins, teams can select 50 yard field goals as plays..
