Apparently the writers there cannot answer the question. Individual rivalry is not a team vs team thing, but thats because the NFL is not a 2 way sport. You either play on O or D and only 1 side scores. If you had guys playing both ways I could answer the question, but there are no true individual rivalries really.

Difficult to compare NFL and NBA, but I guess the closest comparison would be Staubach and Bradshaw. They competed head to head in a couple of Super Bowls and I remember at least one regular season game that got Sports Illustrated cover pre game hype. I think the headline was "Super Bowl 13 and one half?"
