All I know is that New Orleans is a great city to hold a championship game. I guarrantee the visitors will have much more fun before and after the game than in most other cities.

Of course the site matters, the fans have to get there somehow right? Of course many will just fly there, but the road trip is a time honored tradition in sports and the SB should stay in the continental US. Besides the revenue generated is big for the host city and I'm sure plays a role in some of the massive stadiums we've seen built recently like in Indy and Texas. Now on a side note hopefully they will allow tailgating again soon.
