"Can Larry Johnson Comeback?" Well, the first question is "Can the WaPo write a grammatical headline?" In this case, no.
Is this question a trial balloon to see whether Skins fans would tolerate bringing him on board? If it is -- then, again, no.

Al Davis: Can you get me LarryJohnson on the phone?
Larry Johnson: Al Davis? Tom Cable? Broken jaw?
Al Davis: East Bay. Just across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco.
Larry Johnson: Al, I said I don't like them not that I like them.
Al Davis: Okay. You'll be in the Coliseum.
Larry Johnson: Mausolem?
Al Davis: Yes.
Larry Johnson: Will this be a comeback?
Al Davis: Of course. Raider pride.
Larry Johnson: That's so gay.

I find this kind of free speech quashing to be hateful. It comes from the same quasi-liberal thought police that made it illegal to say mailman or lunch lady. When Johnson used the term *phag* it didn't have anything to do with homosexuality or any "ality" at all. It had to do with him expressing distaste for what he perceived as poor play calling. Suppose he called his coach an idiot, would all the mentally retardeds in the country force the Chiefs to fire him?

If he can produce, someone will sign him. If he can't, then Dan Snyder will sign him.

Are you really this dislusional or are you simply a gigantic idiot? This isn't an issue of free speech. In this country, you can say anything you want but you must realize there are always consequences for making stupid, public statements that reflect poorly on your employer.
Separate from the phag comment, which anyone with half a brain realizes is a homosexual slur, he publicly questioned the ability of his coach, only a year after very publicly embarassing his employer by being arrested for legally assaulting two different women at a bar.
I guess this all a result of those evil quasi-liberals who preach tolerance.

It's a good thing that the bank put a hold on Snyder's debit card; he has a strict $100mil limit on washed up talent per season. LJ should retire and start up a battered women's shelter in his backyard.
