March Madness hands down. The excitement from week to week is a "baller's dream". Who can forget all the great buzzer beaters...The folks that lost money that's who!

This is a ripoff of Rick Reilly and his college vs. pro football debate but much of it applies here.

Pro football: prima donna receivers, fat coaches in tracksuits playing not to lose by punting and kicking FGs, synthetic cheerleaders old enough to know better dressing like tarts, piped-in hip hop music, cheesy uniform designs, too many commercials, overlong network pregame shows with forced humor, drunken 50 year olds in the stands, elimination games played in the dead of winter with too much time between events.

March Madness: students who were anonymous before and will be anonymous forever after their moments of glory, coaches in business suits doing everything under the sun to try and buck the odds just once, cheerleaders naturally lean and athletic dressing like...cheerleaders, live music from a pep band, classic uniform designs, mercifully brief network pregame shows with excitement and 'let's get you out to the game', giddy 20 year olds in the stands, elimination games played every other day in warm arenas with spring arriving soon outside.

This is a contest?
