THE QUESTION

Beginner's luck?

With a rookie quarterback under center and a rookie head coach on the sidelines how far can the Jets really expect to go in these playoffs?

Call it what you want; luck, skill or a bit of both they made it to the playoffs and past a Bengals team that most considered superior. The Jets have the same chance as any other team still in the playoffs. They have a solid defense and an offense can has been able to score at times. If my memory is correct Sanchez had a couple of unrookie like games at the beginning of the season. Hey i'm a Chargers fan and i dont think this game is going to be a cake walk by any means.

I think they can by closing down the Charger receivers and putting pressure on Rivers. He gets rattled and really, really mad when things go wrong. There is no match for his ability to throw down field and get big gains with Sanchez's inablity/fear of doing so.

I have been a Jet Fan all my life. Worked in their training camp as a teen. I almost don't want them to play this game and end the season having some dignity and a playoff win.

Our favorite line is "it's a rebuilding year. Our team is young."

They were lucky to get into the playoffs to begin with, only getting in because first the Colts, then the Bengals laid down like dogs, not putting their best effort. Then, the Bengals can't turn it around and lose in the first round. They have certainly benefited from a schedule standpoint.
