The question seems to assume that football fans are objective and watch NFL games for the love of the sport. I don't think that is generally true; it's not true for me. I am a Redskin fan and don't consider games that don't involve the Redskins to be significant. The most significant Super Bowl was the one in which the Redskins trounced Denver.
