THE QUESTION

Are PEDs worth the gamble?

Is the NFL doing enough to deter its players from using banned substances or is the standard 4-6 game suspension insignificant enough that too many players are willing to take the gamble?

I think that players will gamble, because you are expected to pay hurt and perform at a high level. Plus, there are a half dozen guys in camp trying to take your job and if you get injured and have to sit out there is no guarantee your position will still be there. Oh and not to forget that the players who stand out are the rewarded with multi-million dollar deals and that can be all the motivation needed to cheat.
