THE QUESTION

Why all the holdouts?

With training camps opening up next week, why does nearly every first-round pick from the 2010 draft remain unsigned? NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith has hinted at collusion between owners as one issue while the lack of a collective bargaining agreement to ensure financial stability beyond this season could have players demanding more guaranteed money than ever. What is the main reason for the delay and will we see a record number of holdouts continuing deep into training camp?

Basically, agents are greedy little pimples. Demands for HUGE guaranteed salaries for unproven rookies is getting ridiculous. We have here a battle of greedy owners and greedy player backed by greedy agents. If Shakespeare were alive today, he would write, "First we kill all the agents", in jest, of course.
