Are Cowboys America's (most overrated) team?

Are the Dallas Cowboys perennially the most overrated team in the NFL? Are they the most overrated team in history? And after injuries to the Eagles, an uneven Giants win and the Sunday night battle between the Cowboys and Redskins, how will the NFC East shake out this season?

Overrated is an understatement

The perennially overrated Cowboys will miss the playoffs as the perfect dream season scenario unfolds for the Redskins.

Popular for a reason

As a successful franchise, the Cowboys deserve praise, no matter how many times "Cowboy haters" say differently, but that success can come back to bite them.

Cowboys are overrated again

The Dallas Cowboys could be the single most overrated team in football...maybe the single most overrated team in all of professional sports in America.

No matter their record, Cowboys remain relevant

The Dallas Cowboys may be down at the moment, but their trophy case proves they are far from the most overrated team in NFL history.

NFC East gets interesting

A poor Dallas Cowboys performance Sunday night just makes an always tough NFC East race even more interesting.

Love 'em or hate 'em, it's all about Big D

Whether you love them or hate them, everyone has something to say about the Dallas Cowboys, giving them nationally televised games and making their players household names no matter how well the team plays from year to year.

Worldwide brand

Despite underachievement on the field in recent years, the Dallas Cowboys have mastered the art of promoting their product off it and remain at the forefront of the national consciousness.

Who will win the NFC East?

Which team will win the NFC East this season?

Perception and expectations

When performance doesn't meet perception, fans and the media are responsible for teams like the Dallas Cowboys becoming overrated.

NFC East is anyone's ballgame

Too much money spent on receivers at the expense of a serviceable offensive line is just one of the many problems facing the Dallas Cowboys which opens up the division for the Redskins, Giants and Eagles.

Romo is Cowboys' achilles heel

As long as Tony Romo is at the helm for the Dallas Cowboys, "America's Team" will continue to fail to live up to lofty preseason expectations.

Hail Leon Lett

The comedy of errors the Cowboys committed in their season-opening loss to the Redskins should have Wade Phillips readying his resume once again.

Still No. 1

One week into the season, the landscape of the NFC East may have changed, but the Dallas Cowboys still belong atop the heap...for now at least.

America's team

Branded as "America's Team," the Dallas Cowboys have always been plagued by contradictions and unfulfilled expectations.
