THE QUESTION

Is Favre's streak over?

Will Brett Favre's consecutive start streak end before the season does? Will he finish the season as the Vikings starting quarterback?

FROM THE PANEL

Favre's final chapter

Brad Childress appears to have had it with Brett Favre, meaning "the streak" will end sooner rather than later as the Vikings try to get back on track in the NFC North

Don't give them the satisfaction

Brett Favre should walk away now, for the sake of his rapidly deteriorating legacy and body, and to appease the masses who are sick and tired of his circus.

Living and dying with Brett

It's time for Brad Childress ignore Brett Favre's ego and give his starting quarterback a few weeks off to recover from injury in the hopes that he can return to form for a playoff push.

Dealing with the devil

The narrow Super Bowl window for Brett Favre and the Vikings has already closed, leaving Brad Childress with a big mess and no clear way out.

Brett at 100

It's time for Brett Favre to go away, but at this point, who knows when that might happen?

Expect a start from stubborn ol' Brett

Brett Favre has proven his ability to play through injuries over the course of his career, and until he pulls himself from a game, you have to assume he'll be starting Sunday against New England.

Will Favre finish the season as Vikes starting QB?

Will Brett Favre finish the season as the Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback?

Brett's not done yet

Healthy or not, Brett Favre continues to give the Vikings their best chance to win and as long as that remains the case, he should stay put as the team's starting quarterback.

Winning trumps the streak

It's in the best interest of both the Vikings and Brett Favre for the QB to take a few weeks off to get healthy and let a streak that means more to him than anyone watching come to an end.

Better off in Hattiesburg

Brett Favre has tarnished his legacy with three years of erratic play and drama following his first retirement from Green Bay in 2008. He should have stayed true to his word this first time around.
