Fantasy Check

Injury Updates

Sorry for the late post today. Hopefully you are taking a break from watching college football and checking up on the NFL injury report for Week 3.

Some notables include both Randy Moss and Wes Welker listed as questionable. If you own either one, adding Julian Edelman is a great idea.

Jamal Lewis is doubtful, so Jerome Harrison will start, and James Davis will get carries. This isn't the week Davis owners get a breakout performance, as the Browns play the Ravens.

Knowshon Moreno and Brandon Stokley both were listed as questionable on Denver's injury report. Even if they play, they will be limited and aren't the best fantasy options.

DeSean Jackson and Brian Westbrook both are questionable, but Jackson participated fully in practice, and the Eagles are counting on him to start.

While scrolling through RotoWire's latest news, I came across a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review story about Willie Parker, who has had a disappointing start to say the least. Parker said he has "got the stride back" after being slowed with a sore hamstring. Could be a good week to sneak Parker into your starting lineup.

And finally if you want some good reading before you hit the sack, check out FFToday's Inside the Matchup: Week 3.

Be sure to come back Sunday morning for Fantasy Check Live Double OT, where I answer more questions that I didn't have time for during my weekly Friday chat.
