PvP: Week 3 QBs

It was a much better PvP week for the top 10 quarterbacks, who far outshined the running backs. The only extreme underperforming quarterback was Drew Brees, who had his streak of consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass ended at 12 in a 27-7 victory over Bufalo.

1. Brees: 24.9/6
2. Peyton Manning: 20.6/39
3. Philip Rivers: 20/18
4. Aaron Rodgers: 19.8/31
5. Matt Schaub: 18.5/30
6. Tom Brady: 17.3/17
7. Jason Campbell: 17.2/27
8. Eli Manning: 16.7/18
9. Kurt Warner: 16.1/19
10. Ben Roethlisberger: 16/23

The overperformers of the week were Brett Favre, who was projected for 12.1 fantasy points but produced 24, and Jay Cutler (13.8/29).

Also Campbell finally came through with a productive game against what was supposed to be an inferior opponent.

A lot of Campbell owners were ready to dump him after his Week 2 dud against St. Louis, but he showed he's still worth stashing on your bench when your No. 1 quarterback is on a bye, but not for long. Campbell has only four favorable matchups the rest of the season, including the next three in a row: Tampa Bay, at Carolina and Kansas City.
