Fantasy Check Live: RIP

I got word on Sunday that the Friday fantasy chats are being discontinued for now. Apparently a shortage of manpower to produce the chats plus lower trending numbers have conspired to doom Fantasy Check Live.

Regardless, I am there to thank all the fantasy players out there for your support of the fantasy chat for the first part of the season. Your questions were always intelligent and thoughtful, you kept me honest and held me accountable, and I looked forward to our dialogue each and every Friday.

It truly was humbling to be a person so many of you turned to for fantasy advice, and I hope I lived up to your expectations. I like to think I got more of your draft and lineup questions right than wrong, and for those of you whom I steered in the wrong direction, please don't hesitate to let me know where I goofed.

Whatever your feedback, you can reach me directly via e-mail at Also I'll still be dispensing fantasy insight and advice on Washington Post Live (Wednesdays) and The Mike Wise Show (Thursday) every week.

Of course I'll continue to blog about fantasy, and I encourage you to use this forum as a place to post your fantasy questions so others in the community can comment.

Again, thanks for all your support for the fantasy chat, and I'll be in touch through the blogopshere for as long as you'll have me.
