Fantasy Check

Targets and Touches

Bruno Boys has a great new feature called Targets & Touches. If you believe in trends, this feature is for you.

Miles Austin, Eddie Royal and Wes Welker had the most targets in Week 5, but only Austin had a outstanding fantasy week. By contrast, Mark Clayton had 12 targets but just 25 yards on three catches.

The player with the most targets over the past three weeks is Chad Ochocinco, with 32. That's a great indication for Ochocinco owners he's again a significant part of the Bengals' passing game and a player to start regardless of matchup.

As far as touches, the top three in Week 5 were Jamal Lewis, Cedric Benson and Knowshon Moreno. Lewis came out of nowhere to rush for 117 yards in a 6-3 victory over Buffalo. Don't expect that kind of production again from Lewis.

Benson, meantime, ran for 120 yards. It was the first time in 40 games the Ravens had allowed a player to rush for 100 yards in a game.

Moreno had 25 touches and amassed 124 yards from scrimmage in place of starter Correll Buckhalter.
