PvP: Week 9 wide receivers

The top 10 projected wide receivers were generally disappointing in Week 9, save exceptional performances from Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald. Here are the projections as aggregated by Fantasy Football Nerd, along with the actual fantasy points:

1. Reggie Wayne: 14.8 projected points/6 actual points
2. DeSean Jackson: 14.5/2
3. Moss: 13.6/22
4. Greg Jennings: 13.4/6
5. Miles Austin: 13.2/10
6. Wes Welker: 13.2/8
7. Andre Johnson: 13/10
8. Marques Colston: 12.8/4
9. Vincent Jackson: 12.7/17
10. FItzgerald: 12.6/24

The biggest overachiever outside the top 10 was Mike Sims-Walker, who was projected for 9.1 points and produced 20

As for the underachievers, you'll probably never see Wayne on the list except for this week. Jackson and Colston also were major disappointments, and outside the top 10, Calvin Johnson scored two points, though he was projected for just 6.5.

There was speculation in the Detroit media about a rift between Johnson and quarterback Matthew Stafford, but Johnson said: "I know there's nothing, I was there. So it's no problem."
