Bucs Chuck Chucky
As was first reported by Mark Maske on the League's NFL News Feed:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired their former Super Bowl-winning coach, Jon Gruden, and General Manager Bruce Allen.
The team missed the playoffs this season with a record of 9-7.
"We will be forever grateful to Jon for bringing us the Super Bowl title, and we thank Bruce for his contributions to our franchise," Buccaneers co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a written statement released by the club. "However, after careful consideration, we feel that this decision is in the best interest of our organization moving forward."
But was it the right move for the Bucs at this time? Vote Here.

When you lose to Oakland and blow your playoff run by dropping the last four games you don't deserve to keep your job no matter who you are.

Chucky shouldn't be shocked. He's been lucky the last ten years, in that winning a super bowl, based off of Tony Dungy's team got him the benefit of the doubt.
I still don't see his finger print on the Bucs, the defense is still its best asset, again a hold over from Dungy, the offense, supposedly his speciality is mediocre at best. And last season, didn't they have like 10 quarterbacks on the roster?

Grudin is a serious coach. Tony Dungy is annoying and assinine Jesus freak. Stop putting him out there as some kind of coaching genius. Just because he was the first black coach to win doesn't make him any different from the last white coach to do the same. I'd take Chucky over him any day.

Jon Gruden was the best part of the Bucs. I recall that the owners even gave up some draft pics to get him. Dan Snyder must be losing a lot of sleep thinking that he could have gotten Jon instead of Jim. Maybe his still will (making Jon Gruden the new offensive or defensive coordinator). I would not be surprised to see it.
