Michael Vick Pleads Guilty to Va. Charges

According to the NFL News Feed:

"Michael Vick pleaded guilty today to a state dogfighting-related charge and was sentenced to a suspended jail term and probation under a plea deal that was approved by a judge.

Vick appeared in Surry County Circuit Court in Sussex, Va., reportedly arriving more than two hours early and wearing a gray suit.

He pleaded guilty to one count and had another charge dropped.

Surry County Circuit Judge Samuel Campbell approved the plea deal. He had not been bound by it in sentencing Vick.

Resolving the state charges against him reportedly makes Vick eligible to serve the final portion of his federal prison term in a halfway house."

I don't see Vick back in the NFL ever again. But I do see him back as an overrated FA in Madden in 2011.

I hope he's learned his lesson.

He has paid for his sins (some of them). Let him alone now.

I'll bet that this case would't have even gone to trial if he was guilty of smoking bong hits with an albino walrus with gold teeth and a chin strap. Booyah beeoch!!!

Michael Vick, who's he? Oh yeh, wasn't he that black jock, who really didn't have enough brians to be an NFL level quarterback, but who the entire pro footbal media culture always felt compelled to defend because of his "athleticism"? Turns out he was really just another "banger", who couldn't leave the ghetto life behind.

Leave Michael Vick alone. I believe he would have received a different sentence if he was of another pursuasion. He should be let out of jail now -- time served -- and allowed to rejoin the NFL.
