No Warner Contract Talks

Quarterback Kurt Warner is in the final season of his contract with the Arizona Cardinals, and he's proving that he still can play by putting up most valuable player-like numbers and leading the team to first place in the NFC West.

But Warner and the Cardinals still aren't talking about a new contract.

The Arizona Republic reports that the two sides suspended negotiations before the season and haven't resumed them. According to the newspaper, the Cardinals want to re-sign Warner but are unlikely to restart contract talks until after the season.
