Quinn Appears Ready to Go
It appears that Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn indeed will play this weekend with a fractured tip of the index finger on his throwing hand.
He is listed as probable on the Browns' official injury report.
Quinn suffered the injury when his right hand hit another player's helmet on his follow-through on a throw during Monday night's triumph over the Buffalo Bills.
It initially was thought to be merely a bruise. But X-rays were taken after Quinn complained of soreness during a midweek practice, and what the Browns have described as a small fracture was found.
According to the Browns, Quinn was able to grip and throw the ball properly during practices this week. He has made two starts since taking over for the benched Derek Anderson.
