Dolphins Lose Guard
The Miami Dolphins lost left guard Justin Smiley to a broken right leg suffered during early in Sunday's triumph over the St. Louis Rams.
He'll be sidelined the rest of the season.
Smiley had been a steadying influence on the Dolphins' line and on rookie left tackle Jake Long in particular. His loss came a week after the team lost leading receiver Greg Camarillo to a season-ending knee injury.
Andy Alleman took over at left guard Sunday.
