Favre's Shoulder Ailing?
New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre told reporters today that the soundness of his right shoulder could be a factor in his decision about whether to play another season.
Favre indicated he hasn't decided whether to retire or continue playing beyond this season. There has been speculation that Favre's shoulder is bothering him and affecting his play.
"During the course of the year, there was numerous times where I'd been asked about my shoulder and it had been hit a couple of times," Favre said, according to the Associated Press. "I don't know. I mean, just knowing my body, there may be something, but there's no test yet to reveal anything."
