Lions Release Veteran CB
The winless Detroit Lions released veteran cornerback Brian Kelly.
Kelly signed with the Lions as a free agent in the offseason after 10 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He'd fallen out of favor with the team's coaching staff, and didn't play at all last weekend in the loss to the Minnesota Vikings that dropped the Lions' record to 0-13.
