All-Pro Team Announced

Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed was the lone unanimous selection on the Associated Press all-pro team announced today.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, recently named the league's most valuable player by the AP, and 15 first-time selections joined Reed on the team, chosen by a panel of 50 media members.

The offensive selections were Manning at quarterback; Minnesota's Adrian Peterson at tailback; Baltimore's Le'Ron McClain at fullback; Kansas City's Tony Gonzalez at tight end; Houston's Andre Johnson and Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald at wide receiver; tackles Jordan Gross of Carolina and Michael Roos of Tennessee; guards Steve Hutchinson of Minnesota and Chris Snee of the New York Giants; and center Kevin Mawae of Tennessee.

The defensive selections were ends Justin Tuck of the Giants and Jared Allen of Minnesota; tackles Albert Haynesworth of Tennessee and Kevin Williams of Minnesota; outside linebackers DeMarcus Ware of Dallas and James Harrison of Pittsburgh; inside linebackers Ray Lewis of Baltimore and Jon Beason of Carolina; cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha of Oakland and Cortland Finnegan of Tennessee; and Pittsburgh's Troy Polamalu at safety along with Reed.

The kicker was Stephen Gostkowski of New England. The punter was Shane Lechler of Oakland, and the kick returner was Leon Washington of the New York Jets.
