Conference Championships Picks
Eagles at Cardinals
The key for the Cardinals is to run the ball with a little success. They've done a better job of that lately, and if they do it Sunday they perhaps can slow down the Eagles' pass rush a bit and prevent Kurt Warner from being pressured into mistakes. But it's been a postseason in which, for the most part, the teams with better defenses have prevailed. The Eagles' defense is better, and that should be enough even if Brian Westbrook is beat up on offense and Donovan McNabb might have to do most of the heavy lifting himself.
Pick: Eagles
Ravens at Steelers
This one is a true tossup. The Ravens have a lengthier injury list and it could make a difference in their pass rush if they're without Terrell Suggs. But it's tough to get over the feeling that they're the best team still playing, and they know they can beat the Steelers after two near misses during the regular season.
Pick: Ravens
