L.T. Reportedly Has Detached Tendon
LaDainian Tomlinson's groin injury might be more serious than previously indicated.
ESPN reports that the San Diego Chargers tailback has a detached tendon in the area but nevertheless will attempt to play in today's AFC first-round playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.
It is unknown if the injury eventually will require surgery, according to the report.
Tomlinson had been listed as questionable on the Chargers' official injury report because of what had been described as a groin strain.
Chargers tight end Antonio Gates also is listed as questionable because of a sprained ankle.
