Ward Limited at Steelers' Practice

TAMPA, Fla.--Wide receiver Hines Ward was on the practice field with the Pittsburgh Steelers today but didn't participate in full team drills.

Both the Steelers and Arizona Cardinals had their first practices of Super Bowl week in Tampa.

According to a pool report, Ward walked through some plays with the starting offense before practice. He jogged through a few pass routes at the outset of practice, then performed drills on his own on the side.

Ward suffered a sprained knee during the AFC title game but has vowed to play Sunday in the Super Bowl. He wore a small black knee brace today, according to the pool report.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin, after being plagued by a strained hamstring muscle during the NFC playoffs, participated fully in the Cardinals' practice, according to a pool report. Linebacker Travis LaBoy and defensive end Antonio Smith were limited participants in the Cardinals' practice because of injuries.
