Chiefs Comply With Interviewing Rule
The chairman of the Fritz Pollard Alliance, the group formed to promote diversity in hiring in the NFL, told the Associated Press that the Kansas City Chiefs have fulfilled the league rule requiring any team with a head coaching vacancy to interview at least one minority candidate.
John Wooten told the AP that several minority candidates have been interviewed by the Chiefs but declined to name them.
The Chiefs have conducted their coaching search in secrecy since firing Herman Edwards.
