TV Blackout in Hawaii Lifted For Pro Bowl
The NFL lifted the local television blackout in Hawaii for the tonight's Pro Bowl.
The game was within a few hundred tickets of being sold out Saturday when the blackout was lifted, an NFL spokesman told the Associated Press.
The Pro Bowl has been blacked out in Hawaii only once, that in 1982.
Tonight's game is to be carried on NBC.
Next year, the Pro Bowl is to be played in Miami on the Sunday before the Super Bowl is held there.
