Bengals to Add O'Sullivan

According to the league-owned NFL Network, the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to sign free agent quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan would back up Carson Palmer in Cincinnati. The Bengals lost quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Buffalo Bills in free agency.

O'Sullivan leaves the San Francisco 49ers. He was given San Francisco's starting job entering this past season by then-coach Mike Nolan and offensive coordinator Mike Martz, but was benched after Mike Singletary took over as the team's coach.
