Coles Agrees to Bengals' Deal
Wide receiver Laveranues Coles has agreed to a four-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to several reports.
Coles replaces T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who left the Bengals to sign with the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent.
Coles became an unrestricted free agent after failing to agree to a contract extension with the New York Jets.
He had 70 catches for 850 yards and seven touchdowns for the Jets this past season. In nine NFL seasons for the Jets and Washington Redskins, Coles has 631 catches for 8,095 yards and 44 touchdowns.
His deal with the Bengals is worth $28 million, according to the NFL Network.
