Holt Agrees to Deal With Jags

Free agent wide receiver Torry Holt has agreed to a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced on its website.

According to the Florida Times-Union, the three-year deal is worth $13 million.

It has a guaranteed salary of $4 million for next season, the newspaper reported, and non-guaranteed salaries of $4 million in 2010 and $5 million in 2011. There also is a chance for Holt to earn an additional $7 million in incentives, according to the Times-Union.

Holt had been released by the St. Louis Rams. He had 869 catches in 10 seasons with the Rams, including 64 last season.

The Jaguars needed help at wide receiver after releasing Matt Jones and Jerry Porter.
