Second Overseas Game in 2010?

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said today that the league might add a second regular season game overseas to its schedule in 2010, according to the Associated Press.

According to the AP, Goodell indicated that the success of games in London in recent years has led to consideration of further international play, and the second game could be played in London or elsewhere in England on a different weekend.

This season, the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are scheduled to play in London on Oct. 25.

There have been recent reports about the NFL considering a future Super Bowl in London. Goodell has said there have been no discussions about that.

Nobody cares about the NFL outside the states. Only Germany has ever shown any interest at all. And never have "a billion" people ever watched a Super Bowl. Never happened. Stay in the states, contract a few teams, and be happy being the big dog in U.S. sports, Roger.
