Next Year's Draft Could Come in Early May
Next year's NFL draft tentatively is scheduled for early May, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.
A league spokesman told the Daily News that the dates for the draft are not officially set but because next year's Super Bowl is relatively late--Feb. 7--the draft could come in early May instead of late April.
According to the Daily News, the draft tentatively is set for May 1-2. If that happens, the first day of the draft would come on the same day as the Kentucky Derby.
